  • Identify the stressor: Job burnout do not appear just like a mushroom. Events lead to this phenomenon but you have to find that stressor or the cause (some call it trigger). Identifying the stressor can be difficult especially if it is already piled up. The best thing that you can do is to pause for a while and rethink about things.

  • Weigh options: Now that you identified the stressor, the next thing that you should do is to weigh your options. If you can discuss your issues with your boss, the better. When discussing, do not leave one stone unturned. Explore the options say reaching compromise so you will feel better.

  • Alter your attitude: When you experience job burnout, you have become skeptical at work. You have to remember that it is all about the outlook or perspective. With this, you need to change or alter your attitude. If possible, rediscover your work and explore possibilities on making it enjoyable again.

  • Ask for help: Sometimes it is easy to keep things on yourself. You constantly berate yourself because you do not have the courage to seek for help or support. Note that asking for help can make things better and it does not make you look a coward. Admitting to it and seeking for the help of the people around can make your coping easier and stress-free.
